Geronimo strengthens digital team
Press release
Integrated agency Geronimo has appointed a new Head of Digital and five new members of staff to further strengthen the agency. The expansion follows a massive influx of new business wins including Your Bank, GlaxoSmithKline and the growth of retained accounts, Direct Line, SEAT and Radox.
Joining from Weapon7 where he was Head of Channel Development and worked with Coca Cola and GSK, Eaon Pritchard has over 15 years experience in the digital arena and will be responsible for leading strategic digital thinking at Geronimo.
Pritchard, who has also worked at Littlewoods Gaming and BSkyB, will work under the remit of ‘connecting clients with their customers’ across all Geronimo clients.
An NMA Effectiveness finalist in 2007 for his work on Sprite 3G, Pritchard has also been awarded a D&AD annual in 2007 for his work in 2007 on EA Games ‘AV Wars’ as well as being nominated for a D&AD Yellow Pencil award in 2006 for his work on Xbox 360 ‘Easter Egg’.
Of the appointment, Managing Director of Geronimo Andy Snuggs said: “It has been an astonishingly successful year and as such we are growing rapidly as an agency. Eaon’s CV speaks for itself and his previous work has been acknowledged by the industry as being innovative and inspiring, so we feel that he will fit right in at Geronimo.”
New Head of Digital Eaon Pritchard added: “Geronimo has been on my radar for a while as an agency that delivers impressive results across all channels, including digital. The distinguished client list combined with the calibre of staff makes this a fantastic opportunity for me, and I am looking forward to getting started.”
The remaining four appointments include positions within the creative and digital divisions across the agency: Richard Gallon as Senior Interactive Designer, Ben Crook as Digital Project Manager, Hiroshi Suzuki as Digital Designer and Jameson Thomas as Mac Designer.
